They are angry for no good reason a lot of the time but you can make them feel better by throwing compliments in their direction. Compliment the clothes they wear and the way they have their hair and compliment the ground they walk on. It will make them think that you care about them, maybe even like them, and it will make it harder for them to complain about you and your business.

Everyone likes free stuff when they get it but some customers these days have been taught that all they have to do to save a buck is complain about something. It’s true, if you want to get someone out of your face and feeling satisfied with your service, give them something for free.
